Bling and Buy competition: ToffeeHouse

I've been a fan of ToffeeHouse for a little while now. I love their cute craft supplies. In particular, I love their tiny ReMent collections that they've recently been stocking up on, like the Christmas themed collections on the right.

Like it? You can win it! I've got one of the 'Patisserie Premium Sweets' sets to give away, along with four of the Pink Cookies Cabochons below.

I think these would be great to make your own jewellery or use as a cute little stocking filler for others!

So, here's how you can win! All you need to do is go onto ToffeeHouse's Etsy shop and comment below on this post with your favourite item.

You can also get an extra entry by tweeting about the competition using the following tweet: I want to win with @blingandbuy.

Simple! You've got a whole week to enter, and I'll be picking a winner next Friday (27th)

Loutique jewellery: Cinderella & Carriage necklacer

It's that time of year again. You know the one, evil family members, cheesy jokes and a cheeky romance. Pantomime time!

I have a secret soft spot for the dodgy acting and humour aimed at children that pantomimes bring this time of year. Which is partly why I love this Cinderella & carriage necklace (£5.75) from new online store Loutique. Louise, who owns the store, is new to the world of selling online so it's an honour to give her a big Bling and Buy welcome :)

Trinket Box: Big pearl drop necklace

Sophie from Trinket Box recently got in contact about her range on Folksy, and I can happily confirm that the range is indeed full of trinkets!

The big pearl drop necklace on the right really stood out for me, but there are plenty of pretty and girlie items available. This beautiful jewelled necklace is only £8, much like the rest of the purse friendly range.

You can check out the rest of the range here. These heart earrings in particular are well worth a visit!

More Temporary Secretary!

Sarah contacted me a little earlier today with some gorgeous new pieces from her range, and I'm so excited to share them with you!

This gorgeous little bowed birdy has been given the brilliant name of Cheryl Tweety.

These two love birds are an adorable gift

These ice cream earrings are the perfect way to brighten up a dull winter day

This is my favourite one of the collection. The tiny teaspoon comes with a drop of 'milk' on the end, and a cute little jug attached.

This vintage looking pendent is another simple yet beautiful gift.

All the pieces are priced between £8-12 and they'll be on the website in the next couple of weeks so keep an eye out!

So, what do you think of the range? Do you have a favourite?

Karina Anne Design: Cupcakes and Twists

Cupcakes are one of my many weaknesses when it comes to shopping, and I'm not just talking about the edible kinds. I have an overflowing box of cupcake decorations, a couple of funky cupcake prints, and even a chopping board covered in the tasty treats. The one thing I need though is a kitsch looking pot to store all my jewellery goodies in. I've seen a few on the high street, but they've all been a little too bold for my tastes. This pot from fair trader jewellery creator Karina Anne is just perfect though. Handmade from French porcelain, you can grab it from £14.99.

Karina does some lovely jewellery pieces too. These sterling silver wrapped earrings are £25, and would fit nicely into the little cupcake pot as a gift. All of the jewellery from her store is made with ethically-sourced materials in her Suffolk studio, so they'll all have a personal and eco-friendly edge.

BabyLovesPink: Strawberry Banana Shake Necklace

Food based jewellery is a massive weak point for me, and I particularly love cupcake inspired rings. There are some truly amazing replications of full plates of food hanging on a delicate silver chain too.

This milkshake necklace ($18) on the right is particularly funky, especially the seperate blender and glass detail. Coming from Etsy seller BabyLovesPink, the strawberry banana shake necklace is a cute retro replication of this diner favourite.

To be honest, there were dozens of food products in this shop I fell for. I have to mention the pizza ring and necklace set too for the attention to detail.

What's your favourite food? Can you find it in this shop?

Charms4u necklaces and charms

Charms4you boasts the claim that they have the largest selection of sterling silver charms on Etsy. After browsing through the hundreds of intricate charms hanging on a simple chain, I'd have to agree.

The choice is overwhelming and there are so many pieces I love. The On/Off light switch on the right is $18. I've never seen anything like it and I like it would be perfect for any teenagers whose moods tend to match the charm's theme!

The Box of Chocolates charm is $15 and a great little stocking filler for any chocoholics in your life. All the charms come in a pretty giftbox too.

If you're a UK resident and you're buying a lot from the USA, you might want to consider using Bundle Box to reduce your shipping costs.

Insanejellyfish: I heart sushi bracelet.

I've been neglecting Etsy a little recently with the discovery of Folksy and the recent giveaway. The things with rediscovering Etsy is, it's now stocked with lots more crafty items from new designs.

This I Heart Sushi bracelet ($!6) from insanejellyfish caught my eye when I was browsing the jewellery pages. The bracelet is hand made, and I especially adored the little charm created to resemble a plate of sushi.

The typewriter necklace ($33) on the right would be a nice little stocking filler for any budding writers in your life.

Cherryloco: Butterfly and pearl earrings

I saved these Butterfly and pearl earrings as a favourite item a couple of weeks ago on Folksy and revisited them again today. They're are so many reasons why I love these earrings. The peach pearls are luxurious and pretty and the sparkly butterflies perched on top add a modern touch to a classic item.

They're only £15 and they're from Cherryloco. There's a matching necklace for £15 and plenty of cute and kitsch items to fit all tastes.
